Israel Stop: our approach

• Our initiative is neither religious, nor political, we gather people from all philosophical and religious ways of thinking, and all political views taken together, we are not asking you to use violence,
• We clearly make the difference between Judaism, which is a religion, and zionism, which is a political ideology
• We believe that it is legitimate to criticise Israeli politics, without being anti-Semites: we refuse the “anti-Semitism blackmail”,
• We don’t want to fall into the emotional and sensational fields or stereotypes, for both Palestinians and Israelis,
• We don’t want to fall in the trap ‘who’s right’, or ‘who came first: the chicken or the egg?’ to know to whom this soil belongs: we want justice and peace, and we want the strict implementation of international law, what Israel has been flatly denying for years (why?),

Israel Stop: our refusal of the media swindle

• We refuse the dominant mindset, the rhetoric which consists of discreetly talking of an Israeli-Palestinian ‘conflict’: we cannot compare aggressor and attacked, invader and invaded, tank and stones, F-16 and suicide-attacks,
• In front of the obvious injustice, we do have no right to be neutral, or to be in a coward intermediate position while condemning ‘both parties’: we support the Palestinian people, because it is the on suffering occupation and relentless repression by Israel,
• We refuse the mass media treatment overlooking the innumerable commitments in favour of Palestine and Lebanon everywhere in the world,
• We refuse the swindle which consists in saying that the Israeli attacks are only responses: the majority of the offensives are well prepared and in advance, including - and especially - the attacks which took place at the end of 2008,

Israel-stop: our reports, our consternation

• Israel is a state which does not have fixed borders except those included in the resolution of the United Nations 181 of 1948, Israel illegally occupies grounds and does not stop expanding over the years, always with the best pretexts,
• Israel did not take into account any of the 65 resolutions of the UN or the 30 vetos from the United States,
• Israel continuously scorns international law, the only one which can potentially solve the conflict, using consensus,
• Israel is openly violating the Geneva Convention on the protection of civil populations in wartime, and was condemned by many NGOs such as Amnesty International,
• Israel uses cluster bombs against civil populations (more than a million during the 2006 war against Lebanon) invoking ‘self-defense’ (sic!),
• Israel uses white phosphorus bombs (incendiary devices!) in over-populated civilian zones: Tsahal, the Israeli army, admitted it, after denying it for a long time whereas humanitarians NGOs were denouncing it,
• The Israeli press praised the technological exploits of its air force which uses smart bombs, GBU 39 with Uranium Depleted, to bomb their targets in the Gaza Strip: everywhere else, this is called ‘a crime against humanity’. Except in Israel,
• We refuse the policy of the ‘accomplished fact’ carried out for decades by Israel,
• We refuse the ‘wall of shame’ created by Israel,

In conclusion

• We all do not necessarily agree on the solutions to be brought forward, or on the movements to support, but we do agree on one thing: refusing terrorist policies followed by the State of Israel with the open support of the United States, the conniving and obliging silence of the European Union and Arab States,
• Lastly, we think that the policy carried out by Israel is counterproductive for Israelis themselves, and that it will never make it possible to ensure the viability of this State in the long run,
• No matter the results, we really support democracy, and we support popular sovereignty in Palestine, and the right for its people to determine who its leaders are,
• Below is a link towards the United Nations website, because it is a reliable and neutral organisation (among the multitude of existing organisations) to transfer money for the victims in Gaza. We made this choice so that this website remains most universal and most open as possible.

The success of such a method relies on the number of people taking part in it. This method worked in the past for pointless subjects, so let's use it to support Palestine. This is a very serious challenge yet it is achievable. We can make it.

Our "bombing" is not real, it is only virtual – hence legal: rest assured it is not an act of piracy and no one will be after you if you create a link towards this website. All you have to do is to respect other websurfers and webmasters and don't "pollute" the websites you visit.

This website is a simple webpage, aiming at presenting the opinion shared by a growing number of people, but not relayed by the traditional media. The essential purpose of our action is to have this site in the highest position in Google for the israel query.

We chose to insert only one link towards a website which we considered to be the most neutral, i.e. the United Nations website.
We will not insert any other link towards any external websites; indeed, we cannot privilege a website against another: our approach would no longer be universal, and the choice of links to be inserted would require choosing a process which wouldn’t necessarily get unanimity from all those taking part in this operation.
